1. Scope
These terms of service apply to the use of the Road Ranger® MCP Server (Model Context Protocol) at https://roadranger.de/mcp and all related API endpoints at https://roadranger.de/store/* (hereinafter "API").
The API is operated by Dr. Höhn GmbH, Künzelsauer Str. 13, 74653 Ingelfingen, Germany (hereinafter "Road Ranger").
2. Service Description
The API provides structured product data, vehicle compatibility information, dealer information, prices, and other information from the Road Ranger® webshop as a machine-readable interface. The API is intended for use by AI agents, developers, and authorized business partners.
3. No Binding Offers
Data provided via the API is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute binding offers.
In particular, prices, availability, technical specifications, and compatibility information are non-binding and may differ from actual conditions. Binding offers are only made through the webshop at roadranger.de or through direct contact with an authorized Road Ranger dealer.
4. AI-Generated Content — Disclaimer
The API delivers structured data to AI systems (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot). Road Ranger has no influence on how AI models process, interpret, or present this data.
- AI-generated responses, recommendations, and summaries are not statements by Road Ranger.
- Road Ranger assumes no liability for errors, hallucinations, or misleading representations by AI systems.
- Users are obligated to independently verify AI-generated information before making decisions based on it — particularly regarding purchase decisions, vehicle compatibility, and technical specifications.
5. Data Accuracy
Road Ranger strives to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the data provided. All product data is regularly synchronized from the ERP system. However, no guarantee is given for the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the data.
6. Availability
The API is provided without any guarantee of availability. Road Ranger reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue the API at any time without prior notice.
7. Usage Restrictions
The following uses are prohibited:
- Systematic scraping of dealer data via the API
- Excessive requests that impair server operations
- Resale of data obtained via the API to third parties
- Misrepresentation of a business relationship with Road Ranger to third parties based on API data
- Use of the API for unlawful purposes
8. Authentication & Privacy
The API uses OAuth 2.1 for authentication. When using the API with login, personal data (email, name) is processed. The privacy policy of Road Ranger applies.
Credentials are transmitted exclusively to the Road Ranger server during OAuth authentication and are never shared with the AI provider.
9. Intellectual Property
All content provided via the API (product descriptions, images, documents, trademarks) is protected by copyright. Road Ranger® is a registered trademark of Dr. Höhn GmbH. Use of the API does not grant any right to use the trademark or reproduce content beyond the purpose of API usage.
10. Limitation of Liability
Road Ranger is only liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is — to the extent permitted by law — excluded, unless essential contractual obligations are violated.
In all cases, liability is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages.
11. Amendments
Road Ranger reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The current version is available at roadranger.de/en/api-nutzungsbedingungen.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with API usage is Ingelfingen, to the extent permitted by law.
